Ant is a painting machine, fact! Here we present yet more of the beautiful results from his hobby gatling cannon of a painting arm.
Savage Big Boss
Wurgog Prophet and Squiggly Beast
Savage Orruks
Savage Boarboyz
Over to you, Ant?
I?m more of a painter than a gamer, really, so the idea of painting a huge army of half-naked orruks was something I couldn?t pass up! I mean, they?re all mad, and their paint schemes should reflect this. Plenty of opportunities for fun and interesting paint techniques.
I decided to go with a bright scheme ? my reasoning is that the brighter the skin, the more their tribal art would stand out, so I went with a palette of reds, yellows, oranges and blues. If a bunch of mad, naked orruks doesn?t grab your attention, maybe the in-your-face colours will?
I wanted to give them some interesting abilities, so onto the conversions! I gave the Big Boss a Squig totem pole, the idea being that he could roll 4D6 in the magic phase, summoning that many Squigs. Of course, there?s a price to pay ? roll a double, and the Big Boss takes damage from the Squigs he?s summoned. Probably by them smashing into his face in a comedy slapstick style after their screaming journey through the winds of magic.
I have a few ideas about where to go next ? I?ve definitely got the conversion bug. Maybe a giant riding a Colossal Squig??
