So, fully painted, our four champions set about each other in the arena of the Gorechosen. What follows is a slightly haphazard battle report of sorts!
I decapitated 2 models! Stu?s Slaughterpriest got decapitated twice, which has got to be some kind of record. I especially enjoyed Tris getting picked on from the word go, and still surviving right until the last. It?s a brilliantly funny game to play ? we had to take a minute to stop giggling at the whole thing even before we?d actually started. And we weren?t even drunk!
After being forced into the middle of the arena where a cruel twist of fate would have a shaft of burning sunlight beat down upon Borrk the Impaler’s back (thus rendering him all but insensible), he managed to come back from the brink and slay the steel ball-wielding fiend that was the main cause of his woes. Smashy smashy!
This game is super-easy to pick up, despite the massive variety on offer. Each model has a different play style. Also, I got to hit my boss repeatedly in the face really, really hard with a spiky ball and chain. What?s not to like?
At the finish Vexnar the Reaper stood victorious, the lone survivor in the arena.
