We’ve already given you a sneaky look at the recent work in progress from the Warhammer World Studio team, and the diorama has come on a long way since then, getting ready for the Warhammer Age of Sigmar Open Day on June 30th.
This Soul Wars inspired Warhammer Age of Sigmar diorama is 12 x 4 foot in size, and takes us deep into battle with the Stormcast Eternals fighting against a large host of Nighthaunt, led by none other than the Mortarch of Grief.
The main crypt has gained impressive entrance pillars, a processional way, and the basis for some intricate decoration, while out on the open ground ruined buildings have appeared.
All of the rock face is now in place over the foam structure, with texture added ready for painting. Trays of miniatures are finished and painted, waiting to be added once the paint is dry on the diorama.
You’ll be able to see this diorama in person at the Warhammer Age of Sigmar Open Day on June 30th, where the Warhammer World Studio will take be chatting about their recent projects and answering your questions about how they do it all.
Area 1 of the Warhammer World Exhibition will be closed from July 2nd to 13th, and the new diorama can be seen in there from July 14th.
Warhammer World?s Warhammer Age of Sigmar Open Day on June 30th is a celebration of the amazing Citadel and Forge World models we produce, as well as giving you a chance to look at what is to come. It?s a fantastic event for all fans of Age of Sigmar!
